Works by Tahne PuNani

Tahne Punani is a California-based artist who works mainly in mixed media arts, crafts, and poetry. Motivated by motherhood, she elevated herself out of homelessness and addiction, obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services, and began graduate school. While her education and work experience mostly involved helping vulnerable populations, her experiences with her past also ignited a passion for art that allowed her to begin exploring the nature of chaos and change through mixed media and poetry. She is also inspired by her work on issues surrounding mental illness, neurodivergence, trauma, duality, shadow work, and recovery. Currently, she is working on ways to express these elements through her art, and she finds multiple mediums to be a fitting reflection for the often chaotic and dynamic world around and within her.
